Can anyone explain what it is with politicians? When I say politicians I mean all the way from local city elected politicians to POTUS atop the political heap. What is it leads them to believe (or at least behave as though) we elected them to tell us what’s best for us when as I understand we elected them to carry out what we believe best for us? What is it about being elected to public office that turns most of them into arrogant rear facing orifices? Am I being too polite here or is the description understandable without resorting to expletives?
When “We the people” do everything short of bopping them alongside the head with a baseball bat attempting to get their attention only to see ourselves portrayed as part of a radical movement with only ill will intentions, it’s hard not to choke on my beer. If anyone would recognize a radical though, it would be a student of S. Alinsky. Huh Barack?
Another short rant tonight. Whaddya think? Is this disabled, on Medicare, curmudgeonly guy in his early 60′s now on the official “enemies of the state” list? Somebody wanna buy me a Brooks Brothers suit? Please say no.
